The man

Jamie Lockhart is a self taught guitarist, singer and songwriter, he has been creating music for over 25 years and has toured both Nationally and internationally, for a good part of those 25 yrs Jamie has had the opportunity to play alongside some great musicians including Sam Carr ( Buddy Guys drummer )  Jeff Healy at the NXNE music festival in Toronto Canada, he has recorded and released three albums, the last being his solo acoustic album “Songs for the brave”. Jamie has no formal training in music and learnt the guitar by emulating those guitarists who inspired him, Eric Clapton-Stevie Ray Vaughan-David Gilmour and many many more.

The Method

Jamie has developed a unique style of teaching that draws on his experience not only as a professional musician but also on the way in which he learnt to play, through inspiration and imagination. Jamie has developed a highly successful way of teaching his students to achieve the outcomes they want by engaging their natural creativity and teaching them to use it.

Over the past 10 years Jamie has taught and inspired many students, from professional musicians to novice beginners, Jamie has achieved this in different formats from private tuition to Government recognised and funded Creative workshops.
